The Intro
02:07
|
|||
I wanna run free
Free from this captivity
Break these shackles that bind me
And for once, live carefree
I wanna rise up
Get rid of the dull and grey
Now could you please loosen the iron
I need to break away
I wish to chase passion
The kind which only makes sense
If you see your teeth grit and your eyes well up
But this dense fog cleverly clouds my most needed jump
Hope it's not too lonely out there
That there are other people like me
Or maybe they're just too scared
That anarchy isn't as easy as it seems
The monotony of life has scarred us
We all wish to live to our hearts content
But now, we settle for average rather than something magical
Because apparently, we need their consent
Their concern is just a well fitting mask,
Which slowly blends in with the face
It reasons out the fire in our souls
For a mistake
Dreams don't come true
So play it safe like how we do
Now do not question our authority
We are old and wise, you young fool
They'll convince you, I assure it.
But please don't give in
Because halfway across your journey you'll see
A man with welled up eyes and gritted teeth, and say
That's where I wanted to be.

Listen To Me
04:00
|
|||
Son work hard
Don't play guitar
Make some money
And leave that 6 string
"He says boy it ain't so easy
Listen to me"
I say Dad and he turns
I ain't letting this go
This is all I have and need
You ain't gonna take it from me
"I don't want the money, guitar is all I need
Listen to me"
Get a job from 9 to 5
Have some direction in life
Now listen to what I have to say
'Beta, paise paed par nahi ugte'
"He says boy it ain't so easy
Listen to me"
Hey hey hey. Now you tell me
This ain't a day time job
Now why would I need one
When I rock the night off
"I don't want the money guitar is all I need
Listen to me"

Jimmy
03:22
|
|||
Well a kid called Jimmy had nothing on his mind
Just a big backpack and a bottle of wine
He gave up school it was too much for him
But Jim had a fire in him.
His mama lost all her hope in him
But Jimmy's got his whisky with a big ol' grin
His neighbors called him a drunk
But that's just Jimmy with his luck.
Now he wanted to do something with his life
He asked his mama for a loan
But she declined
But Jimmy didn't lose hope.
Jimmy couldn't work for
So Jimmy with some money opened up a bar .
But he didn't realise
He was ruining himself
The money didn't flow
But atleast Jim wasn't a regular Joe
Now Jimmy, worked for a year now
For the real world, he just wasn't cut out
He got back to drinking brandy and gin
Now that's what I call a happy endin'

Close Your Eyes
03:12
|
|||
If I could fly
I'd fly high
And feel free
Cause there's no place I'd rather be
It's easy to judge
To tag me insane
Just stand in my shoes
And smile through all that pain
"Close your eyes
See what it feels like
Switch off the lights
And see, if those tears you can fight"
You say let it be
But I can't seem to let it go
You say it's so tough
But do you really know.
"Close your eyes
See what it feels like
Switch off the lights
And see, if those tears you can fight"

Big Boy Blues
04:12
|
|||
Them denims lying around
But we gotta bend all the way down
Can't the world be a better place?
Say No to cruel man's taste
Oh sweet lord Jesus
The wind just takes me places
I'd rather sit at home and do nothing all day than
Wear my big boy pants and play
"Wanna go back
Back in time
To the good ol' days
Where I felt alive
Wanna go back
Back in time
When there were no big boy pants
And I could simply fly"
I have a dream today
That one day we will all believe
Relieve us from the norms of society
And let's live big boy pants free
"Wanna go back
Back in time
To the good ol' days
Where I felt alive
Wanna go back
Back in time
When there were no big boy pants
And I could simply fly"

Simple Chords
05:19
|
|||
I gotta know if I can play blues
Now I know, that I cannot
"Would you please sing with me, this song is made up of Simple Chords"
Sammy's gotta know, if he looks fine
If you ladies think he looks fine, come on backstage for a good time
"Would you please sing with me, this song is called Simple Chords"
Christopher squeezed a girls ass and ran
He was so happy
Turns out, the girl was actually a man
(She was a man)
"Would you please sing with me, this song is called Simple Chords"
